Our Goals

Promote Strength & Respect For Each Other

The most important assets for any company are their employees. How staff look and interact with each other are vital to the flow of ideas. How a company encourages communication and participation is critical to the wellbeing and ultimately survival of a company. The Haka is a challenge that encourages authentic communication and bravery ultimately creating a new and innovative understanding of real culture built on a deeper commitment to respect and contribution.

Empower Every Voice To Count Towards Your Business Goals

Leadership is tasked with juggling all of the different elements in an organization and matching them with business goals and outcomes. People from all backgrounds and skills are linked solely by their choice of workplace. It is not automatic that this group can find their way alone to becoming a strong cohesive unit. Haka build connections and allows participants to connect on a human level, forgetting their workplace roles and contributing willingly and equally to a new corporate beat.

Encourage Bold Thinking & Initiative

Haka is a catalyst and a road map to new and exciting thoughts and ideas. It has been used by the Maori people of New Zealand for centuries as a tool to draw out the very best from tribe members. Haka breaks down interpersonal resistance and allowing tribal members to target and address the fear and challenges which hold them back from contributing to the group in their most powerful form. Haka opens possibilities by bring a new yet ancient tool to an organization looking for authenticity of purpose.

Establish Agility & Foster Dynamic Business Practices

Companies often struggle with rigid organizational patterns which constrains creativity and the open flow of ideas. The Haka reveals how a new dynamic in an organization can be achieved by encouraging participants to contribute more openly to the group experience. Participants leave the event seeing new opportunities and witnessing the possibilities of what can be achieved by connecting different forms of agility with incremental improvement.  It is building Micro culture that is minimally disrupting in practice but game changing in potential.

Leadership Consulting

Kane Harnett-Mutu provides personal guidance to executives and management of many of the Fortune500 companies, international sports clubs and government agencies.

At the foundation of this work is bravery. The ability to work from your experience and intuition. It is connected to expectations and ultimately responsibilities that will shape, in the eyes of others, whether you have been “successful”.  Tribal values provide leaders with a new tool that connects directly with their own beliefs and wishes. They are real, and impactful, growing from your desire for whatever vision you have for your organization and yourself.  With tribal values, openness and communication become the standing blocks of all decision making where those around you rally to the cause and remain committed and motivated for its success.

For many leaders “fear” can be crippling. In the Maori world, fear is a source of insight and ultimately, survival.  The skill is in finding the right personal vehicles to allow the bridging the emotions and expectations.  The way need not be dramatic and with some guidance, the label of leader becomes a collective call of respect and support from those who follow you.
